Membership is required to participate in any Players Indoor Sports Center programs. Membership is good for the calendar year in which it is purchased. You may buy your membership online here, or you can do it in person at our facility. If you chose to buy your membership online, you can pick up your member’s wristband and sign your waivers the next time you come into the Players. If you decide to register in person, you will receive your membership wristbands at that time.

Youth Lacrosse 
Players Indoor Sports Center specializes in small group training both indoor and out. This is not a “keep a stick in your hand” mentality. We expect you to become a more accomplished player each time the stick is in your hands. We keep a 10 – 1 student/coach ratio.

Open Field(s) for 'LACROSSE' every Tuesday and Thursday, Limited to 28 players (4 teams of 7) in each age bracket. If you are not on a team...we'll put you on one. Based on a first come first serve basis with equal playing time for all.

SHARP SHOOTER ACADEMY (LACROSSE)
Joe Walter's LAX Sharp Shooter Academy
Being a great shooter takes more than being a great shooter.
Joe Walters (4x All American, University of Maryland's all time point leader and goal leader,2006 attackman of the year and member of Team USA) will be holding his 'Sharp Shooter Academy at Players Indoor on August 7th and 8th. The camp/ clinic is limited to 30 students who have reached the intermediate level or beyond. The small group setting allows Joe to share his lacrosse experience on a more personal level, invites questions and answers and creates an enriched learning environment. Joe also uses a 'state of the art' video analysis to facilitate the learning process. The goal of the camp is to blend the art and science of shooting and help the player become a more prolific scoring threat with a repertoire of shots that will mystify the defenders and goalies he encounters. LIMITED TO 30 PLAYERS.
DATE: August 7 and 8, 2008 COST: $275 per student

U-19 Fall High School Boys Leagues (10)
U-19 Fall High School Boys Leagues
These are competitive games using High School Conference coaches and certified officials. Games are Saturday mornings 10:00 – 12:00. Sessions include 1 hour practice and 1 hour game. Teams are chosen via draft picks by the coaches to insure competitive teams. This program is for current High School boys. New players should enroll in The Players Academy to prepare for league play. Play begins September 13 – October 18 (6 weeks) Nike Park, Naperville

U-19 GIRLS TEAM LEAGUES (11)
U-19 Girls Team Leagues
These are competitive games using High School Conference coaches and certified officials. Games are Saturdays from 12:00 – 2:00. Sessions include 1 hour practice and 1 hour game. Teams are chosen via draft picks by the coaches to insure competitive teams. This program is for current High School Girls with some experience. New players should enroll in The Players Academy to prepare for league play.
Play begins 9/13 to 10/18. (6 wks) Nike Park, Naperville

LACROSSE PERFORMANCE TRAINING (17)
Lacrosse Performance Training
Performance training is for the serious Player that wants to take both their athletic ability and their lacrosse ability to the next level. Groups are divided by Boy and Girl athletes. The first part of this training involves plyometric work, agility work, foot quickness and flexibility to help make you a better athlete. The second part of the training is focused on individual lacrosse skill development. Coach Thompson is an ACE Certified trainer and has been working with High School Athletes for 4 + years. This is small group training for the athlete that wants to play beyond High School.
Girl players are trained by Coach Rippy in lacrosse skills and Coach Thompson for their athletic ability. Dates available beginning Aug 1. Call to reserve your spot.

Learning the skill the right way keeps new players from getting frustrated and ensures intermediate players continue to improve. If you have never tried the sport…you should! This is a great opportunity to have fun learning a new sport or improving the sport you already love. Camp is divided into beginners and Intermediate skill level. Feel like you are getting burned out on 1 sport?? Girls Lacrosse is fast, exciting, easy to learn, and is a non contact sport. This camp will teach you basic skills and get you to a point where you can play in a game. If you have some experience, sign up and polish up your skills so you can be effective in a game situation. As in all sports, the best players are the ones that know the basics. Learn the basics and become competitive. Camp is divided into beginners and Intermediate skill level.
All equipment can be rented or purchased at our pro-shop. Rentals must be reserved.

THE PLAYERS LEAGUE U-10 (40)

Boys U-10 (Grades 3-4)
This is where you start!! Learn this game the right way. We teach the skills you need and how the game is played. We keep the groups small and the coaching engaged. No rain outs, mud, bugs or distractions. This is a league setting with teams chosen the first week. Each session is 2 hours long and introduces a new skill with practice time for the first hour and the second hour will be games to practice the skill. Games are instructional with plenty of coaching time.
Sessions are Indoor Saturdays 9/15 to 10/22 (6 weeks – 12 hr field time)

Grades 1 - 2 Boys & Girls
This is a special class to introduce the youngest players to a new game. Skills such as throwing, catching, ground balls and cradling are introduced. Shorter sticks and softer ball are used for this fun and fast paced class. Sessions are Tues from 5:00 to 5:45 beginning 9/23 to 10/14. (4 weeks – 4 hrs field time)

This is a crash course in Lacrosse to get you where you need to be to play in leagues and your HS school team. Course includes basic skill instruction and game strategy both on the field and viewing game tapes. Sessions run 90 minutes each for 4 sessions. 4:30 - 6:00
Sessions will meet indoor on Tues and Wed. (9/2, 9/3, 9/9 & 9/10)

This is a league setting with teams chosen the first week. Each session introduces a new skill with practice time for the first hour and the second hour will be games to practice the skill. Games are instructional with plenty of coaching time. The purpose of this program is to improve your skills, practice your skills and make you a better player. You will learn concepts such as riding, clearing, fast breaks, settled offense and defense, and man up and man down. Participants should have a minimum of an intermediate skill level.
New players should enroll in The Players Academy to prepare for league play.
Sessions are Saturdays 9/15 to 10/22 (6 weeks – 12 hr field time)
