Equipment Sanitizing
Your athletic equipment STINKS just after a few times of use! Bring it into Players Indoor for the ONLY sanitizing machine in the area!
Our sanitizing process is an all-dry process that kills bacteria and fungus that is living in your equipment. Bacteria and fungus cause itching, rashes, and infections to your body.
Your equipment will be placed in a sealed compartment and is vaporized with ozone gas for over 10 minutes. This process will destroy, MRSA, Staff, and “Superbug” bacteria.
Ozone is a gas that can penetrate any porous object because gaseous ozone is highly reactive and readily oxidizes (breaks down) organic matter. Ozone kills bacteria by rupturing the cell wall of the offending organism. When the ozone encounters another compound, one oxygen atom will break away, attach itself to the compound, and oxidize it. This action kills the bacteria leaving only harmless waste and breaks down odor-causing compounds, thereby eliminating the odor and changing the ozone back to oxygen. Ozone is the 2nd most powerful sterilant in the world and its function is to destroy bacteria, viral, and odors. Ozone occurs quite readily in nature, in fact, that “fresh, clean, spring rain” smell that we notice after a storm results from nature’s creation of ozone. (reference: www.noicingsports.com)
